Wired (1989)
For those familiar with John Belushi, he was a funny comedian who had the #1 show, #1 movie, and #1 album. He had it all... but drugs overtook him. Then in 1984, two years after Belushi's death Bob Woodward released a book called "The Short Life & Fast Times of John Belushi". It was nothing more then trash said by people who knew Belushi. In 1989, the book became a movie and it's a terrible terrible film which lead to Michael Chiklis being blackballed for a number of years because of his portrayal of John Belushi. I'm not going to knock down Chiklis because I think he's a good actor. I think he was given a terrible script. There's a lot of behind the scenes stories on this movie from Dan Ackroyd protesting to stop this film from being released to threatening of lawsuits should anyone associated with Belushi become mentioned in the film. Wired is a film that I highly doubt will ever see a physical release on DVD or Blu-ray and that's a good thing because I think it should stay buried.
